Greetings Milwaukee!
It is good to see you again. Yes, I know it has been quite a while since you intrepid readers last heard from me. It has been a long winter (and year), but things are starting to look a little bit brighter. Not only have we emerged from the depths of the typical Wisconsin winter, but with vaccinations rolling out into people’s arms at a rapid pace, there just might be a light at the end of the tunnel with this pandemic. As someone at greater risk from COVID-19, I am thrilled at the prospect of the world getting back to somewhere near normal and allowing us all to get together again.
After getting my two shots, Mr. Milwaukee has been slowly getting back out into this great city. I look forward to sharing my upcoming adventures with you all once again. Don’t get me wrong, delivery and cooking at home are great and were essential during these crazy times, but there is no substitute for exploring and trying new things out on the town. Sadly, while our city will not have its usual full compliment of marquee summer festivals once again this year, there are still countless spots and events to check out around the city, with a lot of making up for lost time. Restaurants, bars, you name it and I will be there, ready to share my thoughts and recommendations. You might even see Mr. Milwaukee on the road once or twice in the months to come, so stay tuned.
